Dr. John Forrer

DIRECTOR OF THE INSTITUTE FOR CORPORATE RESPONSIBILITY (ICR)

Dr. Forrer manages the activities of ICR at the George Washington University and currently leads projects on corporate governance, conflict-free chocolate, the better world learning community, re-imagining sustainable supply chain governance, and sugar, obesity and corporate responsibility.
​
He has written extensively on multi-sector collaborations for governance--public private partnerships, governance networks, and global governance enterprises-and the role business plays in making such collaborations effective.

Mr. Lake teaches graduate and undergraduate finance courses primarily associated with and developed by the GW Investment Institute.
Mr. Lake serves as the director of the GW Investment Institute where, in addition to teaching courses associated with student investment funds, he oversees the portfolios, connects with alumni and industry practitioners, leads the GW Investment Institute Live Show and other events, and oversees GW Investment Institute’s day-to-day operations, including staff and budget.
